At the age of 9, I began to travel by myself on international flights from Europe to the US.
I met pilots and sat in the cockpits with them at 1am and while everyone else on the plane was asleep, I had a front row look at the ocean, the moon, and the stars.
Those experiences elevated me and set me apart from my peers in ways I couldn’t fathom at 9.
I spent a lot of time trying to explain who I am to the world.
What I now realize, is that the world will never understand my views, until they’ve seen them for themselves.
